Richard Tunstall, who was convicted and attainted of high treason in the parliament held in the first year of Edward IV, asks that the act attainting him might be considered null and void by authority of parliament, and that he and his heirs might have and enjoy all the castles, manors, lordships, lands, tenements, and other possessions, that would have been theirs if the act had never been, and enter and possess them, without making further suit for them - and that all letters patent made by the king concerning these possessions since they came into his hand should now be considered void, but no person should be chargeable for any issues taken from these possessions in that time.

This petition is enrolled on the roll of the parliament summoned at Westminster in October 1472 (12 Edward IV) and prorogued a number of times until January 1475 (Rot. Parl. vol. VI, pp.47b-48a). It is stated on p.47b that this petition was presented on 8 February, 12 Edward IV (1473).
