Humphrey Dacre, who was convicted and of high treason in the parliament held in the first year of Edward IV, but who was later pardoned, and whose brother Randolph was also convicted and of high treason at the same time, asks that the acts attainting them might be considered null and void by authority of parliament, and that he and his heirs, and Randolph's heirs, might have and enjoy all the castles, manors, lordships, lands, tenements, and other possessions, that would have been theirs if the act had never been, and enter and possess them, without making further suit for them, and that no person should be chargeable for any issues taken from these possessions, or any entry or trespass in them, between 4 March, 1 Edward IV and 4 April, 13 Edward IV. Various provisos concerning the king's letters patent to Richard Fenys and Joan his wife, and other matters, follow.

This petition is enrolled on the roll of the parliament summoned at Westminster in October 1472 (12 Edward IV) and prorogued a number of times until January 1475 (Rot. Parl. vol. VI, pp.43a-45a). It is stated on p.43a that this petition was presented on 8 February, 12 Edward IV (1473).
