The petitioners, who have been pardoned for various forfeitures, homicides, acts of arson and other felonies, request that the gifts of their former lands and possessions, made to various people by Thomas, Lieutenant of Ireland, might be annulled, and the petitioners restored to their possessions, and able to enter them without suing any further process. and that they should be able to plead, and inherit, and their heirs able to inherit, as if no judgments or outlawries had been pronounced against them.
Nature of endorsement
The king, of his special grace, with the advice and assent of the lords and at the special prayer of the commons in full parliament, has granted this petition in its entirety, according to its contents.

This petition is enrolled on the roll of the parliament held at Coventry in October 6 Henry IV (1404) (Rot. Parl. vol.III, p.552a-b). The petition edited in Rot. Parl. vol.111 p.484b has the same response, and may be another version of this petition. Its exemplification, made at the request of the petitioners, (CPR 1401-5 p. 481) is dated at Westminster, 20 January 1405.The petition enrolled on the roll of the parliament held at Westminster in January 5 Henry IV (1404) (Rot. Parl. vol.III p.537a-b) is identical, and receives a similar, but much fuller response. Its exemplification, made at the request of Bartholomew Verdon, (CPR 1401-5 p. 388) is dated at Westminster, 26 April 1404.The pardon to Bartholomew Verdon for the death of John Dowdale, late sheriff of County Louth, and other matters (CPR 1401-5 p. 240) and the pardons to James White and Stephen Gernon (CPR 1401-5 p. 242) are dated at Westminster, 4 July 1403.
