Nature of request
1) Nory states that he has lent various sums of money to the king for which the king granted him letters patent to receive certain customs and subsidies of wool in payment. He requests provision be made for him in the act of resumption in the manner and form of the draft.2) Clause for inclusion in the act of resumption, that the act is not prejudicial to any grant or grants made to Nory for the payment of any sums lent to the king.3) Clause for inclusion in the act of resumption, that the act is not prejudicial to letters patent of the king made to de Monte to ship 400 sacks of wool from London.
Nature of endorsement
The king by the advice of the lords spiritual and temporal agrees the provision since the sums of money for which the grants were made were lent to the king in his necessity.
