Nature of request
1) Scargill states that for his long service he was as been rewarded by the king being granted the status of esquire and 6d. a day to be taken from the issues of Yorkshire by the hand of the sheriff. He requests that he be provided for in the act of resumption in the manner and form of the draft.2) Clause for inclusion in the act of resumption, that the act is not prejudicial to the grant made to Scargill.
Nature of endorsement
The lords spiritual and temporal considering that Scargill has no gift from the king's gift but the 6d. saving only the parkership of the park of Havering by which he has little sway over his charges, the provision is agreed.
