- 1) Scargill states that for his long service he was as been rewarded by the king being granted the status of esquire and 6d. a day to be taken from the issues of Yorkshire by the hand of the sheriff. He requests that he be provided for in the act of resumption in the manner and form of the draft.2) Clause for inclusion in the act of resumption, that the act is not prejudicial to the grant made to Scargill.
