1) Broke states that for his service to the king's father during which he was permanently maimed he was granted the office of approver of the Fens in Lincolnshire in the honour of Bolingbroke as Symond his predecessor held it. As he has nothing else to live on he requests provision be made for him in the act of resumption in the manner and form of the draft.2) Clause for inclusion in the act of resumption, that the act is not prejudicial to the grant of the office made to Broke.
