- The predecessors of the prior of the hospital of St John of Jerusalem were seised of 2 forges in Fletestrete (Fleet Street) in the suburbs of London, for which they paid the king 15s annually, but they were destroyed in the time of the insurrection of the commons in Richard II's reign, since when the priors have been respited in the Exchequer in respect of that rent. Since the forges cannot be rebuilt, the king is asked to discharge the prior and the sheriffs of London of the rent and all arrears.
