Nature of request
The justices of King's Bench, of Common Bench and of assize, and the king's serjeants and attorneys have not received their fees for 11 years and more. They ask that they might be paid from the revenues of the hanaper and the customs of the ports of London, Bristol and Kingston-upon-Hull, and that they should receive money for clothing from the Wardrobe, along with arrears for the greater part of the past 10 years.
