Nature of request
Draft royal letters on behalf of the bishops of St David's and Norwich and the prior of St John of Jerusalem, who were owed 700 marks, 950 marks and 1760 marks respectively by Ferentinis, merchant of Florence lately dwelling in London, which they could not recover from him during his lifetime, and Ferentinis has lately died intestate. The archbishop of Canterbury, or the custodian of the see if it should be vacant, is to commit the administrators of the goods of Ferentinis to make levy from his possessions within England to the value of the said sums and render account to the archbishop or custodian of the see.
