The abbess and convent state that they have had letters patent of the king granting them a licence to move the site of their house, and they have now moved. They request confirmation of these letters patent, and ratification of all the things that they have done since.[There is a clause in Latin following the petition which was presumably a clause the abbess and convent wanted inserted in the confirmation.]Saving to all lieges except the religious brothers all the things granted and assigned to the abbess and convent, and all those things granted by the abbess and convent to the lieges.

Dated by the heading in Rot. Parl. IV, p.388 which makes this a petition in the parliament held at Westminster on 12 May 10 Henry VI (1432). The letters patent that preceded the petition are dated to 19 October 1431 (SC 8/26/1257B).
