Holme asks the commons to consider the heaviness, danger and disease that he stands in for long residing in this land suing for the good of the crown and the parts of the duchy of Guyenne, for which suits he has laid all his goods and jewels which are likely to be lost, and he be imprisoned without a quick remedy. He requests protection to reside in this land safely for a year.
