Nature of request
Lewis John of Horndon states that Lewis John of Fowey was outlawed by an action of debt at the suit of Haweley, and that he is in great fear being vexed and troubled by the escheators and other officers of the king because he shares the same name as the outlaw. He requests that it be ordained that he should not be vexed in his person, lands and tenements, goods or chattels because of the outlawry, and that he be quit and discharged of the outlawry and of all manner of vexations, and that the chancellor issue writs to the officers discharging him of the outlawry.
