Nature of request
Draft of a warrant of Henry VI stating that Thomas has petitioned concerning his inheritance from his late brother by which, despite being of age, he has been unable to prove and prosecute to have the same. The king orders that Thomas should have and prosecute his writ de etate sua probanda which when returned into Chancery if it is found that he is of full age the chancellor has the power, with the authority of parliament, to make to Thomas full and whole livery of his estates.

Dated to 1427 by the heading in Rot. Parl. IV, p.309 where it is noted that the petition, with which this draft writ was formerly enclosed, comes from the parliament held at Westminster in the quindene of St. Michael, 6 Hen. VI. This appears to be the draft for the writ which was granted to Roos on 13 October 1427.
