Nature of request
Pulford states that he has served the king for 27 years or more, and had by a grant of letters patent of the king certain old offices for the term of his life, and also raised him to the degree of esquire and 6d. a day to support it. He requests a provision in the act of resumption made in this parliament excluding these grants.
Nature of endorsement
The lords spiritual and temporal agree this provision for the offices, saving the office of plumbership of the castles of Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Conway and Harlech, with the fees and wages to the offices of old times due and accustomed, and the 6d. a day to be resumed.
