The commons complain that soldiers, billeted in villages in various parts of the realm, take sheep, barley, peas, oats and other victuals, and pay little or nothing for them. They ask the King to ordain a remedy, by authority of parliament, and to send it to the commons for them to agree to it. They ask that this may be done quickly, as there are currently soldiers billeted in various villages in Kent.
