Nature of request
Anne, widow of Edmund, Earl of March and Ulster, complains that her dower has been long delayed because of delays or problems in acquiring writs of diem clausit extremum, holding of inquisitions on them, etc., and asks the commons to ask the king and lords that, by authority of the present parliament, she might sue for delivery of individual parts of this dower, as soon as the inquisitions have been held, and that she might also have the issues and profits of the possessions assigned to her in dower from the time of her husband's death until the time of their delivery.
