Nature of request
William, Lord de Clynton and de Say complains that as he was setting out for Ireland he enfeoffed one William de la Pooll, with others who are now dead, with certain lands and tenements in England and Calais, for them to do his will with them, but that William has consistently refused to do so. He asks the commons to ask the Duke of Bedford and the lords spiritual and temporal to ordain by authority of parliament that William should be compelled to do as he wishes.
