Griffith Donne requests that he might be made able, by authority of this present parliament, to purchase lands and tenements in England, and in the English boroughs and towns in Wales, and to enjoy all liberties and franchises as freely as any Englishman, although, as he is Welsh, an ordinance of the king's progenitors prevents him from purchasing lands and tenements in England, or in English boroughs and towns in Wales.

Soit baille as seignurs (It is to be delivered to the lords) (on front).The response to this petition, and the petition itself, are enrolled on the roll of the parliament held at Westminster on 2 May in the ninth year of the reign of King Henry, the fifth since the conquest.
