- Griffith Donne requests that he might be made able, by authority of this present parliament, to purchase lands and tenements in England, and in the English boroughs and towns in Wales, and to enjoy all liberties and franchises as freely as any Englishman, although, as he is Welsh, an ordinance of the king's progenitors prevents him from purchasing lands and tenements in England, or in English boroughs and towns in Wales.
