Roger Heron states that his father, John Heron of Ford, had suffered attainder by an act passed at the Parliament held on 4 November in the first year of the reign (1461), forfeiting all lands and possessions held as of 4 March of that year (the date of Edward IV's accession). Roger asks that this act be void, and that he be restored to his father's possessions as held on that date.
