Mark le Feyre complains that although Thomas Bromflete, Treasurer of Henry IV's household, gave him various tallies for sums owed to him for cloth and wine provided for the household, he cannot have payment, as the king's executors say that they cannot pay him without their letters patent being reissued to authorise payment to creditors with tallies, as well as those with debentures. He asks that the commons request of the king that these letters patent might be renewed in this way.

[On face] Soit prie a Roy (A request is to be made to the king).[On dorse] The response to this petition is on the roll of the parliament held at Westminster on the Monday after the octave of Martinmas in the second year of the reign of King Henry, the fifth since the conquest.
