Hamo Bealknap states that in the parliament held at Westminster in the eleventh year of Richard II, Robert Bealknap, his father, John Holte and William de Burgh were exiled, and their goods forfeited, and that in the parliament held at Westminster, in the second year of Henry IV, John and William, were re-enabled at common law, and judged able to claim by inheritance from their ancestors, and restored to their lands and tenements then in the king's possession, in demesne or in reversion. He asks the commons to request the king for a similar judgment in the case of his father.

[On face] Soit prie a Roi (A request is to be made to the king).[On dorse] The response to this petition is on the roll of the parliament held at Westminster on the Monday after the octave of Martinmas in the second year of the reign of King Henry, the fifth since the conquest.
