Addressees
Lords of parliament.

William Doyly and Isabel his wife ask the lords to ask the king to put an end in this present parliament, in one way or another, to their case concerning the wrongs done them by John, Lord Lovell, as they have sued to every parliament since the coronation of the present king, and Lord Lovell has promised to abide by all manner of justice to determine this business, and it is still not determined.
Nature of endorsement
[None].
People mentioned
John [Lovel], Lord Lovell (Lovel).
Note
Dated on the guard to? 1407, with reference to SC 8/23/1117, but it seems that this has more of the feel of the much longer Rot. Parl. vol. III, pp.633b-634b, which is from the parliament of January 1410 (11 Henry IV), and to make a request which is much more like that of that petition than that of SC 8/23/1117: so I have dated it to? 1410.
