Nature of request
Elizabeth Zouche, widow of Lord de Zouche, complains that, as a result of a plea between them, William, Lord de Zouche, has sent armed men to lie in wait for her, her children and her servants, to kill them, and they have attacked her servant, John Hunte, and cut off his right arm, and frightened her daughter Elizabeth into premature birth during an attack on her house. She requests a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
A writ is to be sent to William, Lord de Zouche, to appear before the king and his council in parliament, on the morrow of the Trinity next; and writs are also to be sent to the Justices of the Peace or the Sheriff of the county, to have the above-mentioned trespassers arrested, and to have them find security to keep the peace, as the law demands.
