Nature of request
Isabel, widow of Richard Malbys requests that she might be restored to the manors of Acaster Malbis, Skelton and Copmanthorpe, from which she was forcibly expelled by Richard Fairfax, on the day of All Saints in the third year of the king's reign, and to the issues of these manors during Richard's seizure, and the goods forcibly taken from her by him, by an ordinance of the present parliament; and that Richard might pursue any right he claims in these manors by course of law, not by force.
