Nature of request
Edward Botiller states that when he was going overseas he enfeoffed Nicholas Bluseworth with his manor of Salterton, and with two rents from his manors of Cockayne Hatley and Higham Gobion, with the intention that Nicholas would re-enfeoff him with them on his return, or, if he did not return, sell them and distribute the money for his soul. Nicholas did as he asked on his return, but now says that he has granted the rents to people whom he refuses to name, and has charged Salterton with a rent, to Edward's disinheritance. Edward requests a remedy in this parliament, for himself and for all others in similar case.
