Nature of request
John Hall and Catherine, his wife, ask the commons to ask the king that they may be restored to the manor of Burgate and hundred of Fordingbridge, in Hampshire, which they hold by Catherine's right (rehearsed in detail in the petition) and from which they were forcibly expelled by Richard Arrundell on the Tuesday after last Michaelmas.

It is to be entrusted to the council to do justice to the parties on the matter contained in this petition, by authority of parliament.
