The abbot and convent of St Peter, Westminster request that the king, on the advice of the lords spiritual and temporal, and the commons, of parliament, by authority of the same parliament, might grant them letters patent in accordance with the tenor of the attached schedule, without a fine being paid for this.

It is to be done as requested.

Rot. Parl. vol.IV, pp.414b-415a assigns this petition to 10 Henry VI (1 September 1431-31 August 1432); it is clear from the petition that it was presented in parliament, and the parliament in that year was in May 1432, so I have tentatively assigned it to that year.
