The king, having consideration to all the matter included in this petition, because of this, and because of other reasonable causes shown and declared in this parliament, with the advice and assent of all the prelates and temporal lords in this parliament, has ordained and granted that the inquisition mentioned in this petition is to be held before the justices of his Bench, where the plea is pending, and not elsewhere, and that no writ of nisi prius is to be granted while the plea is pending, so that the plea is examined and terminated in the Bench, notwithstanding any statute or ordinance which might grant a nisi prius.
