The petitioners request letters of the privy seal addressed to the Mayor and Aldermen of London, commanding them not to disturb the jurisdiction of Holy Church, or the process in Court Christian between the masters of the schools of grammar of St Paul, the Arches and St Martin, and certain foreign masters of grammar, not approved, as all such masters ought to be, by the petitioners; as the foreign masters have recently attempted to stop this process by a counter-suit in a secular court.
