Courtenay, William

Nature of request
William, Archbishop of Canterbury, requests the right to present to benefices in the diocese of St Asaph, as his predecessors have done since before the forfeiture of the last Prince of Wales, as the king has recently made several presentations during a vacancy.
Nature of endorsement
This petition is to be sent before the king's great council, and there, when both the king's counsel and the party's have been heard, justice is to be done.
