The friends of Thomas Russhok, formerly Bishop of Chichester, who has been exiled to Ireland, to live in Cork for the term of his life, and has been translated by the pope to a bishopric that will bring him no profit, ask the commons to ask the king and lords of parliament to provide him with support for the term of his life, to be received in some place in England by his friends and attorneys.
Nature of endorsement
The king of his special grace has granted Thomas Russhok, formerly bishop of Chichester, £40 annually for his support, to be received in the Exchequer at the terms of Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions.

CPR 1388-92 p.239 is dated at Westminster, 10 March 1390. The actual translation probably took place earlier (1388 or c. 1388, according to the Handbook of British Chronology). The petition must date from shortly after this.
