Nature of request
Henry, Bishop of Lincoln, requests that the time limited by right for the holding of his fairs of Banbury and Newark might be increased, and that he might have permission for each of them to last longer than was previously the custom.
Nature of endorsement
Of the king's grace, each fair may be allowed to last eight days longer than the time previously allowed provided that this does not harm other fairs. But he is first to show in Chancery how and for how long he has held, and should hold, his said fairs.
