The legal process is dated to 1327 with SC 8/18/868E, the petition with which it was formerly enclosed. The legal process itself has three dates given on the transcript for various stages of the legal proceedings: one month after Easter, 9 Edward II (1316), three weeks after Michaelmas, 10 Edward II (1316) and the morrow of the Purification of the Blessed Mary, 10 Edward II (1317).
