CPR 1321-4, p.244 (dated at Aberford, 25 February 1323) is a licence for Robert Fitz Payn to enfeoff Jordan de Byntre, chaplain, of a number of manors including Stogursey, and for him to re-grant the same to Robert and Ella his wife.CCR 1330-3, p.566 (Woodstock, 12 May 1332) concerns trespasses committed against the prior of Stogursey by Robert and Ella, which would suggest that the manor was still in their hands then. This petition could be from any time within, and beyond, this period.
