Nature of request
John le Ferour states that he was indicted of trespass, not touching upon felony, before Richard Talbot and his companions, justices of oyer and terminer in Wiltshire, of which no execution has been made, and John has been sent to the Marshalsea. He requests that the king order the steward and marshals of the Marshalsea to release him on sufficient mainprise, so that he can go into his country to procure sustenance for himself.
Nature of endorsement
He is to have a writ of Chancery to the steward and marshals to release him on mainprise if this can be done legally.
