Copy of a charter of Edward I, giving permission for William de Felton to grant 16 s. worth of rent, with appurtenances, in Newcastle upon Tyne to the prior and convent of Brinkburn, in exchange for 2 messuages and 33 acres of land, with appurtenances, in Thirston.

The charter and the process held in the Eyre are to be examined; when this has been done, he is to make fine in Chancery to have the charter amended, and the Chancellor is further to do what seems to him is to be done [Endorsement to petition SC 8/17/821A]
