Nature of request
Wynald de Hamere states that the king owes him £6 5s 2d, which he lent him in the first year of his reign to aid him in his war against his then enemies of Scotland, and for which he has letters patent sealed under the cocket. He requests that this sum be allowed to him in the customs on wools to be sent by him out of the port of Lynn.
Nature of endorsement
The Treasurer, Barons and Chamberlains of the Exchequer are to be ordered that, when they have examined the letters mentioned by the petition, if they find that the debt is still due, they are to let him have payment, assignment or allowance, as soon as they reasonably can; receiving etc. and charging etc.

Dated c. 1328 on guard, with reference to SC 8/17/807, but dated here to c. 1331 as the response it gets is so like the responses to SC 8/17/802 and SC 8/17/803 in terms of words.
