Nature of request
Hugh le Tygheler of Lincoln states that Adam de Everingham of Laxton gave him, for the term of his life, the manor of Rowston, which, more than eight years previously, he had seized as his escheat, because of the dissolution of the Order of the Temple, who had held this manor of him. He asks that he might not lose this land as a result of any ordinance made concerning the lands of the Templars and Hospitallers to which he is not a party.
