Nature of request
Blundel states that the king is bound to him for a sum of money for a loan made to him by his customers of London, just as appears by two letters patent sealed under the cocket seal which Blundel has. He requests that the king order his customers to allow the sum in the customs that he should pay for his wool exported overseas from London.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered by a writ of Chancery to the collectors of the customs of the same place that when they have viewed the letters patent, if they find that so much is due to him by this reason, that they should allow so much to him in the customs of wool, hides and wool fells that he would be charged in the port to export them overseas, receiving from him the letters patent, and his letters of acquittance.
