Nature of request
Stratford states that Edward II was bound to the Flynthards in 13 marks for fish bought from them by Spray, Romayn, Turk and Wy for his use as appears by certain tallies which Stratford has. He requests that the king makes for him to have payment for the debt.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer that when they have viewed what the petitioner has concerning the debt, and the account of the late wardrober on this, if they find that the debt is still due they are to make payment, allowance, or assignment as soon as they decently can, receiving etc. and charging etc.
