Masyntone complains that Botiller by his great wickedness and the lordship of Despenser took his plough oxen to Hugh's manor of Tewkesbury and detained them there, and also distrained him in diverse ways until he granted land in the vill of Hardwicke to Botiller. Masyntone was also forced to make an obligation in £100 to come into the king's court to levy a fine to Botiller, and after having come into court and rendered the land to Botiller, he still retained the obligation and impleaded Masyntone by a writ of debt.
