Nature of request
Berkeleie requests that he may have a writ to the abbot to have delivery of his muniments and other goods and chattels which were seized by the ministers of the king and remain in the abbots keeping under their seals.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered by a writ of Chancery to those who arrested the things contained in this petition, that they should certify in Chancery the reason for the arrest of the same things, and upon this certification justice is to be done to him.
