Name(s)
Ille (Lisle), John

At the common law.

Kislingbury, [Northamptonshire].
People mentioned
Thomas [of Lancaster], Earl of Lancaster
Humphrey Bassingburn (Bassingbourn), sheriff of Northamptonshire
Note
The petition is dated to 1327 because the petition is clearly early in the reign of Edward III. As Lisle's complaint concerning the taking of livestock was the subject of a commission of oyer and terminer on 10 March 1327, the petition is likely to be earlier than that, the commission presumably being the product of Lisle's action at the common law (CPR 1327-30, p.79).
