The Gastynes state that they have rendered each year the prise of the lands of aliens in the hand of the king, and still do. They reside in their benefices and are of the allegiance of the king, and have no other income than the issues of their churches and are spiritual. They request that they might be discharged of the farm, having regard for the liberty and immunity of the Church.
