Commonalty of the vill of Latchford in the parish of Haseley.

Nature of request
The commonalty show that Fynel established a perpetual chantry at Latchford to be served by a monk of the abbey of Thame for the souls of the earl and Hugh Despenser for which lands were annexed to the abbey. The current abbot has ruined the chapel and stolen the charters and no man can go to law against him as he is a judge there. The commonalty request remedy as all the country knows that the chantry ought to have been made.
Nature of endorsement
They should sue at the common law, and before the bishop likewise if they wish.
