Nature of request
Thresk states that he has been outlawed by his harassers while he was outside the kingdom by which writs were sent to the sheriffs to enquire of the benefices that he held in those counties. He requests that he have a writ to the sheriffs to surcease the execution of those writs, and they not meddle in the spiritual goods against the franchise of Holy Church.
Nature of endorsement
He is to declare more plainly the matter of his petition, and then sue in Chancery where justice will be done to him.
