Nature of request
Wotton shows that he has served Edward II and Edward III as controller of the Exchequer, but he is now old, of no power and blind so that he cannot defend himself or work. John de Tamworth comes and has obtained a collation from the king and has tried everyway possible to oust Wotton from the prebend.
