People of Churchill next to Kidderminster in the county of Worcester.

Nature of request
The people show that they are distrained for the wool and money of the tax, and all their goods are not sufficient for half the sum. Their land is poor and much lays fallow, and many of the people have left the land, and the remainder are impoverished. They request that a writ be sent to the collectors of wool and the assessors that no more tax is levied of them as they cannot endure it, otherwise it will be necessary for them to leave the land forever.
