Nature of request
Bydard shows that when he arrived at Sandwich, John Dod came and took from his boat against his and his company's will his cargo and goods and chattels. He requests that a remedy be ordained for him so that he can make ready his ship and go to sea amongst the others of Bayonne.
Nature of endorsement
The constable of Dover is to be ordered that he enquire of the matter and give swift remedy to the parties when he has called them.
