The prior states that he was presented at Lincoln in Hillary term last past that he had taken a rabbit from the warren of Beesby. He did not know that it was a warren as the record attests, and was charged £10. He requests grace, remedy and a pardon.

The petition is dated to 1334 by the heading in Rot. Parl., vol II, p.73, making this petitions in parliament in 8 Edward III, though this is a Hale transcript. However, the king pardoned the prior on 2 March 1334 (CPR 1330-4, p.519).
